Shares of government company ITI Limited have witnessed a tremendous surge. Shares of ITI Ltd traded on the Bombay Stock Exchange on Friday with an upper circuit of 10 percent at Rs. reached 190.85. Shares of ITI Limited have gained 65% in the last one month. Recently, the state-owned company has launched laptops and micro personal computers (PCs) under the SMAASH brand name in the market and they are getting a strong response and due to this, ITI shares are seeing a bullish trend.

Laptops and micro PCs are competing with international brands
Laptops and micro PCs manufactured by ITI are giving stiff competition to international brands in terms of quality and performance. The state-owned company has designed laptops and personal computers in collaboration with Intel Corporation. ITI Limited says that its Micro PC is a green solution product, it consumes less power. The company’s micro PCs have no moving parts like fans and have a very long life.

Won many tenders beating global brands
The company has launched laptops and micro PCs under the SMAASH brand name in several markets. The company has won several tenders competing with multinational brands like Acer, HP, Dell and Lenovo. ITI Limited has also tied up with Intel Corporation for design and manufacturing. The company’s PCs come with i3, i5 and i7 processors. ITI Limited has deployed more than 12000 personal computers at various customer sites.

9000 laptops will be supplied to schools in Kerala
ITI Limited has informed that it has recently won 2 tenders from Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE). Under this order, the company is to supply around 9000 laptops to government schools in Kerala. Shares of ITI Limited have gained 65% in the last one month. Shares of the company traded on BSE on 22 August 2023 at Rs. 115.60, which on September 22 was Rs. reached 190.85.
