Assistant Professor Recruitment: Written examination will be conducted on Sunday for the appointment of 64 Assistant Professor vacancies in various faculties in LU. The examination will be conducted in two shifts in the building of the Faculty of Engineering located in the new campus. In which approximately 2800 candidates will participate.
In the month of September, Lucknow University has released an advertisement for the recruitment of 145 posts in various faculties. In which a notification was issued for the recruitment of 64 Assistant Professor posts, 51 Assistant Professor posts and 30 Professor posts. On which applications were taken till September 30. In which more than three thousand candidates have applied for 64 posts of Assistant Professor. For which a written exam will be organized on Sunday. Hereby, applicants from Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Zoology, English, Political Science, Western History and Law departments will be short-listed.
The paper will consist of 40 multiple choice questions of one mark each.
Controller of Examination Vidyanand Tripathi said that the question paper will have 40 multiple choice questions of one mark each. Photograph, identity card and admit card must be brought to the exam. The exams will be conducted in two shifts 10:30 am to 11:30 am and 02:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
Zoology Exam Deferred
LU has postponed the Zoology department exam a day before the written exam for the post of Assistant Professor. A letter has been issued by the Controller of Examinations regarding this.
