Australian spinner Zampa, who had a slow start to the tournament for Australia, dominated the World Cup with some brilliant spells in the middle as well as in the last 10 overs. Pakistan’s left-arm fast bowler Shaheen Afridi was the standout player for the Men in Green throughout the tournament. His campaign ended with him becoming the joint-highest wicket-taker in the World Cup with the legendary Wasim Akram, taking 18 wickets.

The South African fast bowler took four wickets against Afghanistan on Saturday to take his tally to 18. His prowess with the ball helped the Proteas end the group stage on a positive note.

The South African all-rounder has 17 wickets to his name and remains in the top-5 despite not featuring in the 5-wicket win over Afghanistan. Jensen has added dimension to their lethal fast bowling line-up and has conceded 415 runs throughout the tournament. Team India’s star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah is also joint fifth with 17 wickets in 9 matches.
