NASA Officially Launches UFO Search, Find Out What It Means

Washington. The US space agency NASA has said that UAP (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena) has been one of the biggest mysteries for scientists for decades. They are commonly known as UFOs (Unidentified Flying Objects). NASA will now use better technology and artificial intelligence to study these rare and mysterious phenomena.

In fact, to study such events, NASA, in June 2022, established an external independent study team to study data and resources related to them and find a way to shed light on their nature. Now its much-awaited report has finally been released by the space agency. After studying hundreds of UFO sightings, NASA experts have said there is no evidence that aliens were behind the unknown phenomenon.

More than 800 incidents have been observed in the last 27 years
UAP (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena) Objects in the sky that cannot be identified as balloons, aircraft or known natural phenomena have been observed around the world without any scientific explanation or solid evidence. Now a new study will be conducted in this regard. Between March 5, 2021 and August 30, 2022, the US Department of Defense received a total of 247 new UAP reports, compared to more than 800 incidents seen over 27 years.

The existence of another Earth cannot be ruled out
NASA Administrator Bill Nelson admitted that another Earth could exist with billions of stars in billions of galaxies. However, he adds, “If we accept this as a possibility, those objects must have traveled through our solar system to get here.” The report did not specify whether extra-terrestrial life exists, but it did not rule out the possibility of possible unknown alien technology.

AI tools will be used to identify UAPs
The report says artificial intelligence and machine learning are “essential tools” for UAP detection. These powerful techniques will only work on well-qualified data collected against strong standards. NASA has extensive experience in the use of sophisticated technologies, so computational and data-analytics techniques must be leveraged to provide critical support.

Appointment of new Director for UAP Research
NASA has also appointed a new director for UAP research, but the agency has kept the identity under wraps to avoid any threats and harassment during the study. According to the BBC, NASA’s assistant deputy associate administrator for research, Dr. Daniel Evans said members of the UAP research panel had received threats. Therefore, keeping in mind the security of the team, it has been decided not to reveal the name of the UAP Research Director. The new director will ensure that the agency’s vast analytical capabilities, including expertise in data management, machine learning and artificial intelligence, contribute to the government’s integrated UAP effort, the report said.
