Muzaffarnagar. A special court in Muzaffarnagar on Tuesday issued a notice to the wife of Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui to appear before the court on October 7 in a molestation case filed against the actor and his family.
Special Judge (POCSO Court) Ritesh Sachdeva has asked prosecutor Alia Siddiqui to appear on October 7 for reply after filing the final report in the molestation case against all the accused including Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
Lawyer Pradeep Balian said that the police have given a clean chit to all five accused including Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the rape case. According to the prosecution, Nawazuddin’s brother Minhajuddin molested a minor family member in 2012, while various family members, including the actor, supported him.
Nawazuddin’s wife Alia filed a case against her husband and his relatives in Mumbai which was transferred to Budha police station in Muzaffarnagar district in 2020. After investigation, the police have given a clean chit to Nawazuddin Siddiqui, his mother Mehrunnisa, his brothers Faizuddin, Ayazuddin and Minhajuddin in the case.
Nawaz and Alia’s controversy was in the headlines
There was a dispute between Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Alia for some time. Alia went to many places and presented her side in this matter. Nawazuddin has never spoken openly about this. But Alia made many serious allegations against Nawaz.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Alia Bhatt have been at loggerheads for a long time. After a short fight, the audio and video clip of the two also went viral on social media. After this, Alia filed a case against Nawaz and his family. Now the court order has come in this matter. Alia will have to appear in court after this order.
