NEET 2023 BDS: The health department has fixed the registration and other fees in government dental colleges in the state. Currently, Patna Dental College and Rahui Dental College are functioning in Bihar. The fee of Patna Dental College was already fixed. Due to the commencement of Rahui Dental College, the department has revised the fees of Dental College. This fee fixed for dental colleges will be applicable from the academic session 2023-24. A resolution in this regard has been issued by Sudhir Kumar, joint secretary of the department.
The government aims to prevent migration of talented students from the state to pursue medical education outside the state, reduce the doctor population and provide better medical services to patients in the state, the notification said. For this, affordable medical education is provided in state dental colleges. In this order, the department has fixed the registration and other fees in undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Undergraduate Enrollment Fee Rs.1000
One thousand rupees will be charged as admission fee for undergraduate courses. Apart from this, 9,000 rupees per year will be charged as tuition fee for four and a half years. While the annual hostel fee is Rs. 12,000, as caution money Rs. 10,000, per annum Rs. 1200 as electricity charges, Rs. 500 as a magazine society, Rs. 2,000 once as college activity, five thousand rupees once as student welfare and Rs. 100 will be taken. To be taken once as Student Union Fund.
Fees for PG courses have also been fixed
While in postgraduate and superspecialty courses, an admission fee of Rs 4,000 will be charged for PG degree and Rs 2,000 for PG diploma. The admission fee for super specialty courses will be Rs 5,000 once. 9 thousand per annum as tuition fee, 12 thousand per annum as hostel fee, 10 thousand per annum as caution money, 1200 per annum as electricity charge, 1 thousand per annum as magazine society and 1 thousand per annum as student welfare fund usually Rs 5,000 once. .
