Banks will remain closed in many cities of the country on January 1, the first day of New Year 2024. This day is a bank holiday in some states. Apart from this, many private companies and government offices will also remain closed in some states. However, there is no New Year holiday in the stock market and BSE and NSE will operate as usual.
