Bobby Deol was new to the film industry when he got the offer of ‘Karan Arjun’. When he was preparing for his debut with ‘Barsaat’, Sunny Deol felt that his character would be heavier than Bobby Deol. He rejected the film and Bobby Deol also refused to do the film. Later, the role of Karan was offered to Ajay Devgn and Shah Rukh Khan got the role of Arjun. Ajay Devgn also turned down the offer as he wanted to play Arjun. Finally, there was the entry of Salman Khan, whose chemistry with Shahrukh Khan was a super hit. Even today, if these two are seen in a film, it creates magic on the screen.
