Scholarship in UP: On the lines of Allahabad University, Prof. Rajendra Singh (Rajju Bhaiya) State University will also give scholarship to its research scholars every month. Students taking admission in PhD through Joint Research Entrance Examination (CRET) in Allahabad University get a fellowship of eight thousand rupees per month. While entrants from CRATE affiliated colleges do not get fellowship.
For the first time, the state university campuses and the five government colleges of the division will take admission in Ph.D. The university will provide scholarships to bright students pursuing PhD from the campus. State University to promote research and development Rs. An endowment fund of 10 crores has been created. From the interest earned from this, every month Rs. 5,000 scholarship will be awarded. However, the university administration is working out the criteria under which students will be awarded scholarships. From this year, apart from the main campus, PhD will be conducted in five affiliated colleges of the state university.
The university has released the list of research centers and research supervisors. Naini will take admission in Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna PG College, Kulbhaskar Ashram PG College Main Campus. Similarly, Dr. Swami Karpatiji Maharaj Government PG College of Pratapgarh, Fatehpur. B.R. Ambedkar PG College, Kaushambini Bhavans Mehta Mahavidyalaya, Bharwari will offer PhD admission. PRSU Vice Chancellor Prof. Akhilesh Kumar Singh said that scholarships will be given to needy research students of state universities.
Candidates who get 35 marks instead of 33 in the exam will pass.
UG-PG Semester Exam Calendar Released
PRSU has released the University Academic Calendar 2023-24 for Odd Semester Examinations for Undergraduate, Masters and Professional Courses (except LLB and B.Ed). The exams will be conducted from November 28 to December 23 in two shifts (10 AM to 12 AM and 02 PM to 04 PM). Due to delay in LLB and B.Ed admissions and non-completion of scheduled period for semester courses, their examinations will be held between January 5 to 12, 2024.
