Palestinian supporter faces dire consequences for touching Virat, security breached at World Cup final, bail on special conditions

New Delhi. Special security arrangements were made for the World Cup final between India vs Australia (IND vs AUS final). The match was played in Narendra Modi Stadium, the largest ground in the world, in front of millions of fans and celebrities. But in the meantime, a shocking incident has come to light. By breaking the tight security, a Palestine supporter reached Team India’s star batsman Virat Kohli. After which the police took action against him and he was arrested. This Palestinian supporter of Australia named Wayne Johnson has now been granted bail by the court on special conditions.

A court in Gandhinagar, Gujarat granted bail to Johnson on Tuesday. A day earlier, the court had sent him to one-day police custody. A senior officer of the city crime branch said Johnson was produced in a court on Tuesday evening which released him on special conditions. The situation was that during the investigation a strange incident was observed in the World Cup final. An Australian Palestinian supporter breached security amid millions of people at the world’s biggest stadium to reach Virat Kohli, who has now been granted bail on special conditions by a court.
Will cooperate and deposit his passport in the court. During the final against Australia on Sunday, when Virat Kohli was at the crease, Johnson escaped the security cordon and reached the Narendra Modi Stadium ground in Ahmedabad. However, security personnel and ground staff separated him from Virat and took immediate action.

Virat was out after fifty

Virat Kohli was seen performing brilliantly throughout the World Cup. He completed 50 centuries in his ODI career at the mega event and broke Sachin Tendulkar’s record for the second highest. Apart from Virat, no batsman could score even 40 centuries in ODIs. Virat scored 3 centuries in the World Cup 2023 and was instrumental in taking Team India to the World Cup final. Kohli also looked very disappointed after India’s defeat against Australia in the final. Like in 2003, the Kangaroo team gave a crushing defeat to the Indian team in the World Cup final.
