Petrol price on December 27: Amid a rebound in crude oil prices, Indian petroleum companies have revised prices of petrol and diesel. Today marked the 590th day of relief for both fuel prices, with crude oil rising 2.53 percent to $81.07 a barrel. Even today, the price of petrol in Delhi is Rs 96.72 per liter and in Jaipur it is Rs 108.48. Diesel price is Rs 89.62 per liter in Delhi, while it is Rs 93.72 per liter in Jaipur. That means petrol and diesel are expensive in Jaipur as compared to Delhi.
While WTI crude fell 0.44 percent to $75.24, February Brent crude futures rose 2.53 percent to $81.07 a barrel, according to Bloomberg Energy. Crude has now hit near one-month highs. Behind the upswing is the conflict in the Middle East and investor optimism. They expect the US Federal Reserve to start cutting interest rates soon, boosting global economic growth and fuel demand.
The cheapest petrol in the country at Rs 84.10 per litre
Even today the cheapest petrol in the country is in Port Blair. Here, one liter of petrol costs Rs 84.10 and diesel costs Rs 79.74. On the other hand, petrol is the most expensive in Rajasthan’s Sriganganagar. Here the price of one liter of petrol is Rs 113.48.
Petrol Rs 16.77 cheaper from Sriganganagar to Delhi
Petrol is Rs 29.39 cheaper in Port Blair as compared to Sriganganagar. Petrol is cheaper by Rs 16.77 in Delhi and Rs 7.18 in Mumbai as compared to Sri Ganganagar. There is a relaxation of Rs 16.92 in Lucknow and Rs 17.14 in Agra. Let us tell you that the price of crude oil has once again reached close to $80 per barrel.
