Petrol Price November 8: Oil marketing companies have updated the prices of petrol and diesel amid a sharp drop in crude oil. Even today the cheapest petrol in the country is in Port Blair. Here, one liter of petrol costs Rs 84.10 and diesel costs Rs 79.74. On the other hand, petrol is the most expensive in Rajasthan’s Sriganganagar. Here the price of one liter of petrol is Rs 113.48.
The fire that ignited crude oil prices is now cooling down amid a fierce war between Israel and Hamas. Crude oil prices have fallen flat. Brent crude for January futures fell 4.19 percent to $81.61 a barrel, according to Bloomberg Energy. While December WTI crude futures fell 0.92 percent to $76.66 per barrel.
Oil companies will not increase the prices of petrol and diesel, if the price of crude oil increases, they themselves will bear the burden of inflation.
There has been no change in petrol and diesel prices. This is the 541st consecutive day when petrol and diesel prices have remained stable. In Delhi, petrol is fixed at Rs 96.72 per liter and diesel at Rs 89.62. Petrol price in Chennai is Rs 102.63 and diesel price is Rs 94.24. In Mumbai, petrol is being sold at Rs 106.31 and diesel at Rs 94.27 per litre.
