The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the entrance exam dates for PhD admissions in DU, JNU, BHU and Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU). As per the schedule, the PhD entrance exam will be held on October 26, 27, 30 and 31 in CBT (Computer Based Test) mode. Let us tell you that currently the application process is going on for this entrance exam organized for admission to PhD in other universities including DU, JNU, BHU. Today 22nd September is the last date to apply. Candidates have to visit the official website phd-entrance.samarth.ac.in to apply.
After this, candidates will be given an opportunity to amend the application form between 23rd and 24th September, 2023. They can edit their name, father’s name, mother’s name, photo, signature, graduation, postgraduate details, choice of exam city, date of birth, category and caste in the PhD entrance exam form.
Exam Pattern
In the entrance examination, the medium of question paper will be English except the language paper. The duration will be 3 hours. The paper will be divided into 2 parts. The first part will focus on the research methodology and the second part will focus on the chosen topic. The question paper will have 100 multiple choice questions. One question will carry 4 marks. At the same time, for answering any question incorrectly, 1 mark will be deducted.
There is no age limit for appearing in this PhD entrance exam but candidates must fulfill the criteria of the university where he/she wants to take admission.
