Prime Minister Narendra Modi has joined WhatsApp channels. You can directly connect with PM Modi through this channel. This feature has recently been introduced in the social messaging app. WhatsApp channel (PM Narendra Modi WhatsApp Channels) allows administrators to broadcast text, photos, videos, stickers and polls. With the help of the new feature, users can follow the channels of their favorite celebrities.

If a user follows a channel, his phone number will not be visible to the channel administrator and other followers. Apart from this, the channel administrator also gets the option to block screenshots and forwards.

In a photo shared on the WhatsApp channel on Tuesday afternoon, PM Modi is seen busy working in his office in the new Parliament building. The post received nearly 200 responses within minutes and the PM’s WhatsApp channel has over 17,000 followers at the time of writing.
What is WhatsApp channel?
Meta-owned instant messaging app WhatsApp Channel recently rolled out a new channel feature similar to Telegram. With the help of this feature celebrities can create their own WhatsApp channel and common users can connect with them directly. WhatsApp Channels has also included a channel directory search feature, which helps users find channels created by their favorite content creators, businesses or celebrities.
Not only this, users also get the facility to react to the creators’ messages. Now, along with PM Modi, many other celebrities and leaders have also created their own channel.
Launching the new WhatsApp feature, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said in a Facebook post, “Today we’re launching a WhatsApp channel globally. We’re adding thousands of new channels that people can follow on WhatsApp. You can find Channels in the ‘Updates’ tab.
