The Prime Minister will visit the Freedom Fighters Museum at Bhagwan Birsa Munda Memorial Park in Ranchi on the morning of November 15 and then reach Ulihatu village, birthplace of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, where he will offer floral tributes to the statue of Bhagwan Birsa Munda. Munda.

The PMO said that Modi will be the first Prime Minister to visit Ulihatu village, the birthplace of Lord Birsa Munda. He will also participate in the third Adivasi Pride Day celebrations organized in Khunti. During the program, the Prime Minister will flag off the ‘Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra’. It was said that it has been the Prime Minister’s continuous efforts to ensure that no one is left behind from the key schemes of the government and that its benefits reach all the targeted beneficiaries within the time frame. The Prime Minister will flag off the IEC (Information, Education and Communication) van on this occasion.

The Yatra will initially start from districts with significant tribal population and cover all districts across the country by 25 January 2024. During the event, Modi specifically targeted the all-round development of the Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) with Rs. 24,000 crore scheme will be launched.

The PMO said that the PVTG Development Mission Scheme will be a major step towards the empowerment of tribals and will be a first of its kind initiative. In the Budget 2023-24, the scheme was announced to improve the socio-economic status of PVTGs.

75 PVTGs in 18 States and Union Territories
According to the PMO, there are 75 PVTGs in 18 states and union territories, living in 22,544 villages spread over 220 districts with a population of about 28 lakh. He said that these tribals are scattered and live in remote and inaccessible areas of forest areas. Therefore, the scheme is designed to provide PVTG households and settlements with basic amenities such as road and telecommunication connectivity, electricity, safe housing, clean drinking water, sanitation, education, better access to health and nutrition and sustainable livelihood opportunities.

The scheme will be implemented by nine ministries under existing welfare programs covering rural roads, rural housing and drinking water. Some planning norms will be relaxed to cover these remote settlements. In addition, saturation coverage will be ensured for Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, Sickle Cell Disease Eradication, TB Eradication, 100 percent Immunization, PM Suraksha Matrutva Yojana, PM Matru Vandana Yojana, PM Nutrition and PM Jan Dhan Yojana.

The PMO said that during the programme, the 15th installment amounting to around Rs 18,000 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) will be released to more than 8 crore beneficiaries through direct benefit transfer. Under this scheme, more than 2.62 lakh crore rupees have been transferred to farmers’ accounts so far in 14 installments. During his visit, the Prime Minister spent around Rs. 7200 crore project will be inaugurated and foundation stone laid.

The projects that the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for include four-laning of 52 km stretch of Mahagama-Hansdiha section of National Highway 133, four-laning of 45 km section of Basukinath-Devaghar section of National Highway 114-A, KDH. -Poornadih Coal Handling Plant, IIIT Ranchi’s new academic and administrative building.

Inauguration of several schemes
The projects to be inaugurated and dedicated to the nation by the Prime Minister include several railway projects like the new campus of IIM Ranchi, new hostel of IIT ISM Dhanbad, Petroleum Oil and Lubricants (POL) depot at Bokaro, Hatia-Pakra section. Includes doubling of Talgaria-Bokaro section and Jarangdih-Patratu section.

The PMO said that apart from this, the Prime Minister will also dedicate the achievement of 100 percent railway electrification in the state of Jharkhand to the nation.
