MP Election: A video of Priyanka Gandhi who went on an election tour in Madhya Pradesh is going viral. Something happened on stage in Indore that is making headlines. Here a Congress leader gave Priyanka Gandhi a bouquet without flowers. Seeing this, Priyanka Gandhi could not stop laughing. The video of the entire incident is going viral on social media.
The crowd and other leaders present on the dais were stunned when Congress worker Devendra Yadav handed over an empty bouquet to Priyanka. Even Priyanka Gandhi couldn’t stop laughing. Not only that, he pointed to the leader and asked what is this. During her speech, Priyanka addressed the incident in a light tone and hit out at the BJP, saying that just as I have received an empty bouquet, the Modi government is also giving empty promises.
On this whole incident, Congress leader Devendra Yadav says that the bouquet was given in haste. He clarified, “There were many bouquets placed in which I picked one up and gave it to her but I did not see any flowers in it.” The flowers probably fell among the many bouquets but I didn’t notice and it happened by accident.
Priyanka Gandhi was addressing a rally at Indore-5 assembly seat on Monday. The Congress General Secretary is constantly visiting the state in view of the elections. Priyanka has attacked the BJP and the Shivraj government while making a political attack. Realizing the delicacy of the occasion, Priyanka compared the empty bouquet to the BJP’s promises.
Assembly elections in the state are scheduled to be held in a single phase on November 17. The counting of votes will take place on December 3. High command leaders of arch rival BJP and Congress are visiting the state.
