Senior Ravindra said, ‘The name sounds good, is easy to spell and is short, so we decided on it. After some time, we realized that it was a combination of Rahul and Sachin’s name. This name was not given with the intention of making our child a cricketer. Ravi Krishnamurthy used to play cricket himself. Ravi said that he gave his children complete freedom to choose any field of their choice.
