Rajasthan Safai Samara Bharti 2023: The High Court has refused to ban the ongoing recruitment of 13000 sanitation workers in Rajasthan. The petition sought a ban on recruitment, practical and interview selection process. The court also directed the petitioners to be included in the recruitment process, though their selection would be subject to the decision of the petition. The next hearing of this case will now be held on October 18.

The petitioner said that earlier the recruitment of cleaners was done through lottery system. The petitioner’s counsel argued that earlier the court had declared the lottery system as appropriate. There is no educational qualification requirement in the rules for the recruitment of sweeper. There is always a possibility of fraud if recruitment is done through interview or other means.

The court said that it is not possible to stop the recruitment process in the current situation.

Let us tell you that 839822 applications have been received for the recruitment of 13184 posts of sanitation workers in 176 Municipal Corporations, Municipal Corporations and Nagar Parishads of the state. That means 63 candidates will contest for one post. More educated people also applied for this recruitment in the desire to get government jobs. Many are BA, MA and computer diploma holders.

2092 candidates will compete for one post in Heritage Corporation. 91 candidates will compete for one post in Greater. 3.35 lakh applications for 3670 posts in Greater and 2.26 lakh applications for 108 posts in Heritage Corporation. After verification of applications, candidates will be called for interview and practical. Candidates will be asked to do practical work like cleaning toilets, sewers, drains and drains. Practical will be of 50 marks and Interview will be of 30 marks. There will also be video recording of practicals and interviews.

Preference will be given to widows and divorced women with one year experience certificate in this recruitment.

Ban on 50 thousand Mahatma Gandhi service appointments
The appointment of Mahatma Gandhi Seva Perekar by the Rajasthan government on contract basis has received a blow from the High Court. This recruitment was being done for 1 year on 50 thousand posts across the state. The Rajasthan High Court has issued a notice to the Government’s Department of Peace and Non-Violence, banning the appointment of service promoters. Although the government may continue the recruitment process, appointment letters will not be issued.
