A close friend of Ranbir Kapoor said in an interview to Zoom on condition of anonymity, ‘Ranbir is a very quiet person. But, there is a lot of tension at this time. There are many reasons behind it. First reason… this is his most expensive film till date (reportedly the film has a budget of Rs 175 crore and Ranbir has charged Rs 80 crore for the role). Second…Ranbir is playing such a dark character for the first time. I have never seen Ranbir so tense before.
The actor has not seen the film yet
A friend of the actor continued, ‘He is very nervous and very curious to know how he has fared in the film. Along with Ranbir, other actors have not seen the film yet.
So many crores can be earned on the first day
Trade analysts believe that Ranbir Kapoor’s film will earn Rs 100 to 115 crore worldwide on its opening day. As for India’s box office collection, according to Secnilk’s report, the film could do a business of Rs 50 to Rs 60 crore in Hindi and Rs 10 to Rs 15 crore in other languages.
