Mumbai: Karan Johar has once again entered the world of reality shows with the new season of his famous and popular celebrity chat show ‘Koffee with Karan’. After many successful seasons in the past, now it has created a stir among the fans from the very first episode of this season. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh arrived as the first celebrity guests on Karan Johar’s chat show. The promo of the show had already won the hearts of the fans. Because, in this, Deepika-Ranveer’s wedding video was played after five years of their marriage. Apart from this, Karan said something during the show that no one would be left without talking about.
Karan Johar made a very surprising revelation during his show and said that he wants to remake the film Love Triangle with Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor. The actor made this shocking statement in the very first episode of Koffee With Karan 8. Ranveer Singh’s reaction was really surprising.
Reacting to Karan Johar’s proposal, Ranveer said that he has no objection to work with his wife Deepika’s ex-boyfriend in a love triangle love story. He also revealed that Karan had once suggested a remake of ‘Sangam’ with the trio. Let us tell you that the story of Sangam revolves around two good friends who fall in love with the same girl.
The film Sangam was released in 1964, starring Raj Kapoor, Vyjayanthi Mala and Rajendra Kumar in lead roles. The film was directed by Raj Kapoor himself, which turned out to be a blockbuster. During the rapid fire round, Karan Johar asked Ranveer Singh – ‘Which actor would you like to see in the third role in your and Deepika’s love triangle love story?’
In response to which Ranveer Singh took the name ‘Ranbir Kapoor’. After this, Ranveer said- ‘You want to make Sangam with all three of us. it’s not?’ In response, Karan Johar said- Yes. Ranveer Singh also criticized Karan Johar for not working further in the film and said, ‘You say it, but it doesn’t lead to anything.’ In response, Karan said, ‘I can still make Sangam.’ On this, Deepika, who has dated Ranbir Kapoor, said- ‘I have no objection to this.’
Let us tell you that Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh came in front of the camera for the first time in 2016. Both participated in an episode of Koffee with Karan together.
