While talking to Times of India, Rinku said, “I am a big fan of Suresh Raina Bhaiya. I try to follow and copy him a lot. It has played a big role in my life. He has helped me a lot with bat and pad in every way while playing cricket. He sent me many things without asking. Whenever I was in doubt about something, I would call him. He is like my big brother. It has also taught me how to handle pressure. It says take 4-5 balls and settle. Then open your hand.”

Rinku Singh’s first T20 against Australia was his sixth T20 international. He has got a chance to bat in only 3 innings so far. Meanwhile, he has scored 97 runs at a strike rate of 194. 38 runs is his best performance. That means his first half-century is yet to come. In his overall T20 career, Rinku has scored over 2100 runs with 13 half-centuries.
