Sam Bahadur Box Office Collection Day 12: Vicky Kaushal’s biographical war drama Sam Bahadur has finally recovered its budget at the box office. The film had a slow start and faced stiff competition from Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal from day one. Despite receiving positive response from both fans and critics, the film struggled at the box office. The main reason for Sam Bahadur’s poor performance at the box office is Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, which has been a huge hit at the theaters and has collected over Rs 440 crore till date. However, Sam Bahadur’s worldwide collection still stands at Rs. 100 crores, but it will take some time for the film to cross this mark.

According to industry tracker Saknilk, Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur has so far collected Rs 0.88 crore at the box office on its 12th day and may be slightly higher today. The film collected around Rs 2.15 crore on the 11th day. Saam Bahadur has a worldwide collection of 81.8 crores and the film has earned 58.7 crores in India. The good news for the makers is that the film has finally recovered its budget (55 crores).
Sam Bahadur performed much better on the second weekend as compared to the first weekend, where the film saw a steep decline after the weekend. Notably, the film is based on Sam Maneksha, India’s first field marshal, who fought in five wars. He served in the Indian Army for over four decades. Sam played an important role in the independence of Bangladesh.
