Born in poor circumstances, Ashwini Patel was so fond of playing cricket since childhood that she started swinging the bat at the tender age of four. Meanwhile, seeing Ashwini’s passion for cricket, his father built a two-and-a-half-acre cement pitch in the farm so that his son could play cricket to his heart’s content. The village lacked a sports ground, so Ashwini’s father had to construct a playground in two and a half acres of land. Ashwini’s 3 to 4 years of hard work is now paying off, Ashwini batting on the cricket pitch has now started hitting fours and sixes.

Father became a cricket coach to fulfill his passion for Lado
Seeing daughter Ashwini’s good performance, father Ramla Khan is helping her by becoming her coach. Not only this, Ram Lakhan has been busy collecting cricket uniforms to the best of his ability since childhood to make his children’s dreams come true. Every day, Ashwini starts the day with the first rays of the sun at the cricket ground, where after 2 to 3 hours of rigorous practice, he goes to the Sanskar Convent English medium school in the village.

Be it the way to the cricket ground or the responsibility of sending him to school, Ramlakhan himself takes on the responsibility. Bowing to his daughter’s delight, Ramlakhan built a small pitch in two and a half acres of agricultural land and covered it with a net to make a small field. And after becoming his daughter’s coach, Ramlakhan, in his free time from farming, plays cricket with his daughter every day and is busy honing her talent. In the evening, Ashwini practices by playing cricket with other players from the village and surrounding areas.

Seeing Ashwini’s dedication to cricket, Indian women’s blind team player Sushma Patel encouraged Ashwini and advised her to practice every day. With this, Sushma believes that Ashwini needs a good coach now.
