The three TSA agents who committed the theft have been identified as 33-year-old Laberius Williams, 20-year-old Josue Gonzalez and 22-year-old Elizabeth Fuster. All three were arrested in July itself. However, Elizabeth Fuster was released at the same time.

The video shows two TSA agents standing at a scanner at Florida International Airport checking people’s luggage. The two security guards were first seen stealing the money from the bag on the tray and quickly putting it in their pockets. After that, another agent repeatedly moves the tray containing the bagged passenger’s purse back and forth and opens the bag, but is careful not to be seen. After struggling for a while, he took out a large amount of cash from the purse and put it in his pocket. Agents have been seen carefully searching bags before stealing and pocketing passengers’ belongings.

In an official statement regarding the theft at the security terminal, the TSA confirmed that they do not tolerate this type of behavior from their employees. So they have removed the said officers till the investigation is completed.
