Jaawan is constantly breaking box office records. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan and Jawan’s entire team organized Jawan’s success meet in Mumbai. At the event, Shah Rukh and Deepika Padukone were seen dancing to the film’s hit musical number Chaleya. Shah Rukh also revealed at the event how he thought of casting Deepika for Aishwarya’s role in Jaawan.
Deepika looked gorgeous in a black and white saree at Jaawan’s success press conference. Musician Anirudh Ravichander was seen singing with rapper Raja Kumari. During a conversation at the event, Shah Rukh revealed how Deepika Padukone became a part of the film. Shah Rukh said that the idea of Deepika Padukone came to him during the shooting of Pathan’s song ‘Besharam Rang’. In fact, Deepika’s name was in his mind before but he was not sure if Deepika would be able to make time for him. But Shah Rukh Khan had no expectation that something like this would suddenly happen on the sets.
How Deepika Padukone became a part of Jawan
Shah Rukh Khan said that he was shooting for Besharam Rang. While watching Deepika Padukone, a sudden thought struck him and he said to his manager Pooja Dadlani, ‘How would she look in the role of a mother?’. After listening to Shah Rukh, Pooja went to Deepika and started talking about something. He immediately turned around and said that Deepika Padukone had said yes. Deepika also seemed excited about the film and said I should tell Atla sir.
