Mumbai. Hindi Day is being celebrated with enthusiasm across the country today. The importance of Hindi is being explained and many programs related to it are also being organized. Controversies have arisen many times over the Hindi language. One such controversy took place between Bollywood and the South and it escalated to such an extent that it was discussed on social media. In fact, South star Kiccha Sudeep made a statement, in which the Hindi language was mocked. Ajay Devgan was very angry with this statement and gave a jaw-dropping reply to the big star of South.
Kannada actor Kiccha Sudeep is very famous in South cinema and has also appeared in many Bollywood films. When South star Yash’s film ‘KGF Chapter 2’ created new success records, Sudeep expressed his thoughts during an interview. Sudeep said, ‘Everyone says that Kannada films were made all over India, but one minor correction is that Hindi is no longer the national language.’ A dispute arose on this issue of Kiccha.

Ajay Devgan did not like Kiccha’s statement at all and expressed his thoughts through Twitter. ‘Singham’ star Ajay wrote, ‘Kichcha Sudeep my brother, according to you, if Hindi is not our national language then why do you dub your mother tongue films in Hindi? Hindi was, is and will remain our mother tongue and national language. Jan Gana Mind.’ Seeing Ajay Devgan’s anger and the seriousness of the matter, Kiccha also replied to Ajay. Sudeep wrote, ‘Sir, the context in which I wrote that line was totally different and reached you in a very different way. It was not intended to harm, provoke or start a debate. Why would I do that, sir?’

The language controversy was so deep that even Karnataka’s CA Siddaramaiah jumped into it. He wrote, ‘Hindi was never our national language and never will be. It is the duty of every Indian to respect the linguistic diversity of our country. Every language has its own rich history, which people are proud of. I am proud to be Kannada.
