SP is gearing up for all 80 seats in UP, so it can help alliance partners too: Akhilesh Yadav

He said, if there is no preparation, how will we help the coalition candidates?

“SP is with ‘Bharat’ and PDA (Backward, Dalit and Minority) is our strategy and this is troubling the NDA,” he said.

He asserted that “PDA is with India”.

According to a statement issued in Lucknow, Yadav today addressed the Jannayak Karpuri Thakur Social Justice Maharalli as the chief guest at Bhiti in Sahajanwa, Gorakhpur. Thousands of barber community people from different districts of the state participated in this rally.

Yadav said in the grand rally that the people of Baland community are our brothers. We will work to uplift the dignity of the people of this society and the party will be ready to help at every step. The Samajwadi Party is taking all castes and religions together following the thoughts of Dr.Bhimrao Ambedkar and the path of Dr.Ram Manohar Lohia.

He promised that if SP comes to power, he will give Rs 3000 pension to women.

On the seat sharing controversy for assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, he said, “…a lesson should be learned in politics, only this helps to move forward.”

When asked if he would support Kaki (BSP chief Mayawati) in the 2024 polls, the SP president quipped, “She has already moved on, why do you want to bring her closer.”

The SP chief alleged that “BJP is constantly opposing the caste census.” The kind of discrimination that is happening in the BJP government. I hope that such a convention will awaken the Bahujan society. Everyone will come together and work against BJP’s wrong policies to defeat BJP in 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
