SSC Constable GD Exam 2024: Staff Selection Commission in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), Constable General Duty (GD) in NIA and Rifleman GD 2024 in SSF and Assam Rifles are expected from next week. As per the calendar released by the Staff Selection Commission, the applications will start from November 24 and will be accepted till December 28. The first phase of computer based examination is likely to be held in February-March 2024. Candidates who wish to apply for the SSC GD Constable 2024 Recruitment Exam can apply online by visiting the commission website ssc.nic.in. It is expected that the potential number of vacancies will also be released after the application process.
10 Pass can apply:
Class 10 ie Matric pass candidates can apply for SSC GD Recruitment Exam 2024. Candidates between 18 to 23 years are eligible for this. Reserved category candidates will also get relaxation as per rules.
SSC released schedule for Rifleman Recruitment Exam 2024 in CAPF, SSF and Assam Rifles on 31 October. As per schedule, Constable GD Exam will be held from 20 February 2024 to 12 March 2024. GD Constable Recruitment Exam 2024 will be conducted on scheduled dates 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29 February and 1, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12 March, 2024. Along with this, the commission also announced the dates of Delhi Police Constable Exam 2023. SSC Delhi Police Constable (Executive) Exam for Female and Male candidates will be conducted from 14 November 2023 to 3 December 2023.
Admit Card issued for Physical Test
SSC on Friday released admit cards for Physical Endurance Test (PET) / Physical Standard Test (PST) proposed from November 22 for recruitment of Havildar under Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) and Havildar Exam 2023. In the result declared on November 7, 4380 candidates were declared successful in PET/PST.
CGL 2023 will recruit 8415 posts.
Under the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2023 examination of SSC, there will be recruitment for 8415 posts in various Ministries, Offices and Departments of the Central Government. The commission announced the detailed details of the posts on Friday. While issuing the notification on April 3, the Commission had received information on only 7500 posts, which has increased to 8415. The final result is likely to be declared by the end of November or the first week of December.
Out of the total 8415 posts, the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) under the Ministry of Finance has a maximum of 2389 posts of Inspector (CGST and Central Excise). There are 1197 posts for Unreserved Class, 430 for Scheduled Caste, 202 for Scheduled Tribe, 364 for OBC and 196 for EWS. There are 900 posts of tax assistant in this department. There are 1102 (Reserved 482, SC 131, ST 71, OBC 300 and EWS 118) posts of Accountants in the Office of the Controller General of Accounts under the Ministry of Finance.
