Sikandar Kher has been active in the industry for the past 15 years, but till date the actor has not been able to deliver a single hit film on his own nor has he been cast as a lead actor in any film till date. Often seen in supporting roles, Sikandar Kher has been struggling to make his mark in films over the years, but he got his real identity from OTT. Sikandar Kher has been seen in the third installment of Sushmita Sen’s recently released web series ‘Arya’. The web series ‘Arya’ is one of the most successful projects of the actor’s career.
The actor has recently opened up about not being able to achieve a niche in the industry despite being a star kid. In an exclusive conversation with Aajtak, he revealed that despite being the son of Anupam Kher and Kiran Kher, he used to message filmmakers like crazy. During the conversation, he revealed that since childhood he used to hang out with people like Yash Chopra and Karan Johar, but still used to message everyone for work.
Rani Mukherjee’s health deteriorated during the shooting, the director scolded her on the set, the film became famous after its release.
He said that he was messaging everyone that he wanted to meet them for 10 minutes and so that it didn’t take much time, he also kept a 3 minute show reel ready. He further says you won’t believe it, but they didn’t give any reply for days and when they met they used to say that they will tell when something comes and saying this they used to suspend the matter.

Responding to a question about parents not giving any recommendation, the actor said that his parents have never called anyone for him till date. He further says that he does not want his parents to call anyone for him. If their parents recommend it, they will be embarrassed. He is not a filmmaker or a director. They are actors and both are doing their own thing.
