The stock market went off the rails today. A day ago, the Sensex rose 742 points and the Nifty 232 points to 19675. Today, Thursday, both indices opened lower. The 30-share Sensex of the Bombay Stock Exchange BSE opened 10 points lower at 65,665.87 today. Whereas, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange started the day today at the level of 19,674.70.
The Sensex was down 111 points at 65564 in early trade. While it was trading down 32 points at 19,643.20. The Nifty’s top gainers included shares of NTPC, BPCL, ONGC, Coal India and TCS, while Nifty’s top losers included Bajaj Finance, down over 2 percent, Hindalco, Adani Enterprises and JSW Steel, down over 1 percent. At the same time, Grasim declined by 0.94 percent.

Let us tell you that the American markets closed with a surge on Wednesday. Wall Street’s Dow Jones rose 0.47% or 163 points to close at 34991. The Nasdaq rose just 9 points. It closed at the level of 14103. The S&P also rose 0.16 percent to close at 4502.
Wednesday Status: Investors’ Assets Rs. 3.29 lakh crore has increased
With the surge in the stock market, investors’ assets on Wednesday rose to Rs. 3.29 lakh crore has increased. The 30-share BSE Sensex ended up 742.06 points, or 1.14 per cent, at 65,675.93. At one stage during the trading, it rose to 813.78 points. Along with this, the market capitalization of BSE listed companies is Rs. 3,29,520.27 crore increased to Rs. 3,25,40,108.97 crores. ,Full news,
