In a recent debate about the role of youth in environmental protection, Suhana Khan praised Alia Bhatt and said that by repeating her wedding saree at the National Film Awards, she is contributing to the environment instead of buying new clothes. Suhana said, ‘Recently, Alia wore her wedding saree again for the National Awards and I think, it moved people, I think it was an incredible and very important message.’ Emphasizing this, he said, ‘If Alia Bhatt can wear her wedding saree again, we can also wear a party outfit again.’

However, Suha is being trolled on social media for her statement of ‘donating’ to the environment by repeating a dress. People say that repeating outfits is very common, but the way Suhana cited Alia’s example and called it an admirable job is surprising. While sharing a video of Suhana’s interview, a user wrote, ‘Can’t believe people have to go through such struggles.. Painful.. These are the real achievements.’
