New Delhi. After the defeat in the final of the ICC ODI World Cup, the Indian team will play the T20 series against Australia. BCCI has announced the team for this. Suryakumar Yadav has been handed the captaincy of the Indian team. Rinku Singh has returned to the team while Akshar Patel has also been given a place. This series of 5 matches will be played between November 23 and December 5.
The Indian cricket team is going to forget the defeat in the ICC ODI World Cup final and start afresh against Australia. The selectors announced the 15-member squad for the upcoming series on Monday, November 20. Suryakumar Yadav, who is playing in the World Cup, has been entrusted with the responsibility of captaincy. Apart from this, Ishan Kishan and Ishan Krishna are the only players who were part of the World Cup squad.

The Indian team will play a 5-match T20 series against Australia from Thursday, November 23. The last match of the series will be played on December 3. The first match will be played in Visakhapatnam while the second match will be played in Trivandrum on November 26. The third T20 match will be played in Guwahati on November 28 while the fourth match will be played in Raipur on December 1. The fifth and final T20 match of the series will be played in Bangalore on December 3.
