The FBI Newark Field Office and the Jersey City Police Department are asking for the public’s help in solving Bhagat’s disappearance. The FBI is offering a reward of up to US$10,000 for information leading to Mayushi’s whereabouts or recovery. In July last year, the FBI included Bhagat in its “missing persons” list and sought the public’s help in getting information about his whereabouts.

Born in India in July 1994, Bhagat lived in the US on a student visa and studied at the New York Institute of Technology. According to an FBI statement here, Mayushi is fluent in English, Hindi and Urdu languages and investigators say she has friends living in South Plainfield, New Jersey. The FBI said that anyone with information about Bhagat, his whereabouts or his disappearance should call the FBI in Newark or the Jersey City Police Department to report it.
Mayushi Bhagat has been missing since 2019
“A reward of up to US$10,000 may be offered for information leading to Mayushi’s whereabouts or recovery,” a statement issued last week said. The FBI has placed a ‘missing persons’ poster of Bhagat under the “Kidnapped/Missing Persons” list on the “Most Wanted” page of its website.
