Jharkhand NMMS 2023: Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has started the application process for Jharkhand NMMS (National Means Cum Merit Scholarship) 2023 for eligible students. Candidates who want to apply for the scholarship can apply for JAC NMMS 2023 by visiting the official website – jac-nmms.com. Let us tell you that the last date for filling the form is 17th November, 2023. There is no application fee to apply for the scholarship.
As per the official schedule, Jharkhand Academic Council will conduct the JAC NMMS Exam 2023 on December 17, 2023 to shortlist the students for the scholarship.
Like the NMMS Scholarship offered by many other states, the Jharkhand NMMS Scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to students. Through this scholarship, shortlisted students from class 9 to class 12 will be provided financial assistance of Rs 12,000 per year.
Candidates who are going to apply for this scholarship must have secured at least 55% marks in class 9th. However, students must have passed class 9 to be eligible for the scholarship in class 10. Similarly, it is necessary to pass class 10 with minimum 60% marks to get scholarship in class 11. While for class 12 students have to pass class 11 with 60%.
Let us also tell you that students studying in 8th standard are eligible to apply for the scholarship. However, students studying in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sainik School and private schools are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks in class 7 can apply for the scholarship.
