Madhya Pradesh won the toss and decided to bowl first. Against the bowlers of the team, the entire Nagaland team was bundled out for just 132 runs. Kulwant took 4 wickets while Kumar Karthikeya took 3 wickets for Madhya Pradesh. At the same time when it was the turn to bat, Yash Dubey and Rajat Patidar came to bat. As soon as Patidar arrived, he started showing his aggressive style. He scored 70 runs in just 27 balls. His innings included 9 fours and 5 towering sixes. In his innings of 70 runs, he scored 66 runs with the help of only fours and sixes. Whereas, Yash finished the innings with 49 runs in 30 balls. As a result, the team took just 9.3 overs to reach the target of 133 runs.

The injury occurred in IPL 2023

RCB team was missing Rajat Patidar in IPL 2023. He was out for the entire season due to injury. But now there is good news for his returning team. IPL 2024 is scheduled to be held in March, if all goes well till then, Rajat Patidar’s bat can be seen swinging in IPL as well.
