The National Testing Agency has made some changes in the JEE Main syllabus. Eight subjects have been dropped from Physics and nine from Chemistry. Some subjects have also been removed from mathematics. In this, various topics are covered, including linear equations, binomial co-efficients, Bernoulli trials, binomial distributions, scalar and vector triple products. The special thing is that the nine subjects deleted from Chemistry are still included in the syllabus of JEE Advanced. In such a situation, students who have qualified for JEE Advanced after Mains will have to study subjects omitted from Mains while preparing for Advanced.
Physics syllabus is almost same for main and advanced. In such a situation now the path to NEET has become easy for the students, but cracking the IIT entrance exam will not be easy.
