The government has taken up the issue of showing polytechnic semester exam copies on video call from the evaluation center. In a third major action on Thursday, the government has suspended Principal Arif Mehmood of Government Polytechnic Bijnor. This action has been taken by M Devaraj, Principal Secretary, Technical Education Department. Arif Mohammad will be attached to the office of the Director of Technical Education, Kanpur for the duration of the suspension. In which 2504 students who took the first exam and wrote the mobile number on the answer book were given zero marks in that subject. This matter has been revealed by your own newspaper Hindustan.
Mohit Kumar, an examiner of a private college, was checking copies of the mid-semester exam at the evaluation center of Government Polytechnic, Bijnor. He made a video call to the candidate by calling the mobile number written in the copy and demanded a bribe in return for passing the exam. Such incident has happened due to loose control of polytechnic principal at the centre. Principal suspended for malpractice in evaluation.
In this case, the police registered an FIR against the accused examiner and arrested him. After this the board identified 2504 students who wrote the mobile number in the copy. The examination committee has given zero marks to all these students in that subject. Subjects for which students wrote mobile numbers in their answer sheets.
