4 overs, South Africa hit a hat-trick of wins, tough road for Pakistan

New Delhi. The South African team facing a major upset in the World Cup (World Cup 2023) has boarded the Vijayarath. South Africa, who is playing the sixth match against Pakistan in the World Cup, has continued its winning streak. In this match, the Pakistani team was seen stuck in the circle of four players, including 2 bowlers. Batting first, Pakistan set a target of 271 runs to South Africa with the help of two half-centuries.

South Africa started well in bowling. The team’s star fast bowler Marco Jensen took three wickets including both the openers. However, captain Babar Azam played an innings of 50 runs in 65 balls for Pakistan. Apart from this, Saeed Shakeel scored 52 runs in 52 balls. After these two batsmen, the Pakistan team was in big trouble. However, Shadab Khan took charge and increased the score by playing an innings of 43 runs.

Markram became the team’s troubleshooter

Pakistan started well in bowling. The Pakistani bowlers did not allow veteran players like de Kock, Deussen and Klaasen to last long. But at the other end, Aden Markram stayed at the crease like Angad. He scored a brilliant century for the team in difficult times. Wickets kept falling from the other side which kept the match in balance till the last minute. Markram played a brilliant innings of 91 runs off 93 balls. Unfortunately, he fell 9 runs short of his century. In this match, South Africa registered a thrilling victory by 1 wicket.
