New Delhi, Zoya Akhtar’s film ‘The Archies’ was released on 7 December on Netflix. Not just one or two but the entire army of star kids were seen in this film. Directed by Zoya Akhtar, Shah Rukh Khan’s sweetheart Suhana Khan, Sridevi’s younger daughter Khushi Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda and many other actors also made their Bollywood debut in the film, directed by Zoya Akhtar. The film starring star kids has received mixed response from the audience. While a section of the audience loved the film, there was also a section of the audience that mocked the film on social media.
Two Bollywood big names are also among those who are loving the memes being made on ‘The Archies’ on social media. First actress Raveena Tandon liked a post mocking the star kids’ performance and then director Farah Khan’s name was added to the list. Now veteran actor Manoj Bajpayee’s name has also been included among those who did not like the film.

Recently Manoj Bajpayee in an interview given to the entertainment portal Zoom said that both he and his daughter do not like the film at all. He says, ‘My daughter and I were watching ‘The Archies’ and I told him, ‘I’m not. like’. He said ok, but by then I had watched the movie for 50 minutes.
The daughter scolded the actor
The actor continues, ‘Archies was not a part of my upbringing, I grew up watching Motu-Patlu Ram Balaram. I may have only read one Archie book and I remember Veronica and Betty. But, my daughter also did not like this movie. Talking more about his daughter, the actor says that while watching the film, he told his daughter that she should speak Hindi like the characters in the film, but on the contrary, her daughter scolded him saying that she should not speak Hindi at all. Don’t spend time at home.
‘Zoram’ received tremendous response
Talking about the work front, Manoj Bajpayee was last seen in the thriller film ‘Zoram’. She received a lot of applause for her performance in this film. Earlier this year, his film ‘Sirf Ek Banda Kafi Hai’ was also critically acclaimed.
