New Delhi. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is in the mood for a ‘major operation’ after the poor performance of the Pakistan cricket team in the World Cup 2023. Chairman of the selection committee Inzamam ul Haq has resigned. The entire selection committee was dismissed and new people were given the responsibility. Captain Babar Azam has also resigned. Amidst all this PCB has taken a big decision and appointed former Australian cricketer Adam Holyoak as Pakistan’s batting coach.
Let us tell you that PCB has appointed Adeem Holyoke as the coach for the 3-match Test series between Pakistan and Australia to be held next month. The Pakistan team will now play a 3-match Test series against Australia under the coaching of Adam Holyoke. Adeem will continue as batting coach of Pakistan’s Test team.

Who is Adam Holyoke?
Adam Holyoake’s international career began in 1996. Born in Australia, Adam Holyoke played for England. He also captained the English ODI team. Holyoke played 4 Tests and 35 ODIs for England. Apart from this, Holyoke made the county team Surrey three times county champions. He scored a total of 18 first-class centuries in his career.
A coach who has been in many places
Holyoke is not going to coach a team for the first time. Prior to this, Adam Holyoke coached the Boost Defenders team in Afghanistan’s Shpejiza Cricket League in 2018.
