Moscow. Russian President Vladimir Putin met with the North Korean leader at the Vostochny Cosmodrome, located in the country’s far eastern Amur region. Kim Jong Un (Kim Jong Un) met on Wednesday. The meeting shows how the two leaders’ interests are aligning amid the ongoing conflict with the US.

According to RIA Novosti, the Putin-Kim pair will meet at the cosmodrome of the Russian space port Vostoch, about 1,000 kilometers (620 miles) from Vladivostok. Putin said the site was chosen because Moscow plans to help North Korea with its satellite program.
Putin, referring to North Korea by its official name, said the DPRK’s leaders are very interested in rocket technology and are trying to assert their presence in space. When asked by reporters if military cooperation would be on the agenda, he said we will discuss all issues without any haste, there is still time.
Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov said Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu – who visited Pyongyang in July and recently discussed bilateral joint naval exercises – would also take part in the talks, RIA Novosti and TASS reported.
KCNA said Kim was accompanied by top military officials, including Korean People’s Army Marshal Pak Jong Chon and Munitions Industry Department Director Jo Chun Ryong.
