New Delhi. The Indian cricket team has achieved great success on the third day of the Boxing Day Test match against South Africa. Team India defeated the bowlers with a bang and managed to stop the host team batsmen from taking a lead of 200 runs. India managed to dismiss South Africa for 408 runs only because of Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah. Dean Elgar’s century and Marco Jensen’s half-century helped the team take a substantial lead of 163 runs.
The Indian team currently seems to be trailing in the first match of the two-match Test series against South Africa. After dismissing Team India for just 245 runs in the first innings, the host team managed to post a massive score of 408 runs. The score could have been bigger but Jasprit Bumrah took four wickets to prevent South Africa from scoring big.
Four wickets for Bumrah
Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah took four wickets in the first innings of the Centurion Test match. Due to the consistent bowling of this experienced bowler, India did not allow South Africa to reach the 200-run lead. Bumrah took two wickets on the second day of the match and he took the same number of wickets on the third day as well. He took 4 important wickets for 69 runs in 26.4 overs.
Jasprit Bumrah turned the match around
Indian team’s veteran fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah took a wicket at a crucial time against South Africa. The Indian legend turned the game around against the hosts by taking a wicket at a crucial time. First, Bumrah broke the pair of Dean Elgar and Tony Da Jori. After this he got a big breakthrough by clean bowling Keegan Pietersen. On the third day, South Africa’s innings ended with the dismissal of lower-order batsmen Kagiso Rabada and Andre Berger.
