Anti-terror cell of Delhi Police is interrogating six accused.

Six people arrested in connection with the massive security breach at Parliament House have been charged under the anti-terrorism law, the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). The young man had brought a spray hidden in his shoe. After spraying, yellow smoke started spreading in the house. The MPs caught both of them and beat them up.

The six accused include Sagar Sharma and D Manoranjan, who used the yellow smoke canister inside the Lok Sabha. At the same time, Neelam Devi and Amol Shinde blew smoke from red and yellow canisters outside Parliament.

The other accused arrested are Lalit Jha and Vicky Sharma, both residents of Gurgaon. Lalit Jha allegedly shot a video in which the other accused were hiding smoke cans. The man ran away with everyone else’s cellphones. Vicky Sharma allegedly sheltered other accused.

According to sources, Delhi Police’s investigation so far has revealed that all the accused were associated with a social media group called Bhagat Singh Fan Club. However, what their motive was is yet to be revealed. It is being told that the accused met in Mysore about a year and a half ago and discussed to take the plan forward. The second meeting took place around nine months ago, when the accused planned the entire attack.

UAPA Act… Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act i.e. UAPA was brought to crack down on terrorist activities. Section 15 of the UAPA defines terrorist activity. Under this there is a provision of imprisonment for a minimum of 5 years and a maximum of life imprisonment. If a person lives in a terrorist incident, there is a provision for death penalty or life imprisonment for the guilty person.

Sources said that Sagar Sharma came to Delhi from Lucknow this July. He could not enter the Parliament during this visit, but he monitored it from outside and watched the security checks carefully. The accused reached Delhi this Sunday to execute tomorrow’s plan. He stayed at Vicky’s house in Gurugram.

It has been revealed that Amol Shinde had brought smoke cans with him from his home state of Maharashtra. Cans were distributed among the group members during the meeting at India Gate. After this, the journey to implement the entire scheme was started.

Sources told NDTV that all the six people wanted to go inside Parliament, but only Sagar Sharma and Manoranjan managed to get a pass. Both entered Parliament yesterday afternoon. After this he executed the whole incident very cleverly.

A shocking scene was witnessed during the zero hour in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday afternoon, when Sagar Sharma jumped from the audience gallery and entered the House. He opened a can of yellow smoke and jumped from desk to desk trying to reach the chairman’s chair.

As the MPs caught Sagar Sharma and beat him up, Manoranjan also opened a smoke box. However, he too was soon caught. Shortly before the incident inside the Lok Sabha, Neelam and Amol opened a can outside Parliament House and raised slogans against “dictatorship”.
