Application date extended for UGC NET December 2023, fill form till 31st October

NTA UGC NET December 2023: National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the application date for UGC NET to December 2023. Now the candidates can fill the application form on the official website ugcnet.nta.ac.in till October 31, 2023. Let us tell you that earlier the last date for applying was fixed on 28 October, but now the last date for filling the form is 31 October 2023.

As per the official notification, the last date for depositing the examination fee which was till 29th October, 2023 at 11:50 PM, has been extended to 31st October, 2023 at 11:59 PM. While the correction window will be open from 1 to 3 November 2023 till 11:59 PM instead of 30 October and 31 October 2023.

Candidates can pay the application fee through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI.

Candidates who are applying for UGC NET December should be informed that candidate has to submit only one application form. Candidates will not be allowed to fill more than one application form. Strict action will be taken later against such candidates who fill more than one application form.

Let us tell you that UGC NET exam is conducted twice a year in June and December for ‘Assistant Professor’ and ‘Junior Research Fellowship’ in colleges. The exam has Computer Based Test (CBT) mode in 83 subjects. This exam will be conducted in December from 6th December to 22nd December 2023.

Both the papers will be taken simultaneously, no breaks will be given.

UGC NET December will have two papers namely Paper-1 and Paper-2. Both the papers will be taken in a single session of three hours duration and will consist of objective type multiple choice questions. There will be no break between papers. Candidates can switch between Paper-1 and Paper-2 of the UGC NET exam.

Let us tell you that 50 questions of 100 marks will be asked in Paper 1. While in paper 2 100 questions of 200 marks will be asked. A total of 150 questions of 300 marks will be asked. The duration of the exam will be 3 hours.
