Arab-Islamic Summit: Amid the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas, Arab leaders and Iran’s president met in the Saudi capital on Saturday to condemn Israel’s actions in the war against Hamas in Gaza. Fears were expressed in the meeting that the war may spread to other countries as well. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, opening the meeting, said that Saudi Arabia holds Israeli officials responsible for the crimes being committed against the Palestinian people. “We are convinced that the only way to guarantee security, peace and stability in the region is to end the occupation, the siege,” he said of Israel’s actions in Gaza and the occupied West Bank.
