Arijit Singh is one Bollywood singer whose voice no one is crazy about. Arijit has given many hit songs in his career. Apart from this, Arijit is also known for his outspokenness. Now Arijit recently talked about Autotune. Many people now use Autotune, says Arijit. But with this a non-singer can never become a singer. Singer also stated that AR Rahman was the first person to start using Auto Tune in India.
All singers except Sonu use auto tune.
Arijit said in a music podcast, ‘When a singer sings, he sings with emotion and when he sings with emotion, it’s not perfect. He goes a little out of tune, I think many singers never go out of tune except Sonu Nigam. Takes that are good emotionally, but a bit sloppy in tone. We start to modify it and with emotional tech, you can use it a little bit as long as you can humanize it.
AR Rahman was the first to start
Arijit further says that music composer Pritam uses auto tune in every song, but there are some composers like Mithun Sharma and Vishal Bharadwaj who do not use it at all. AR Rahman doesn’t do it anymore, but he used to use it a lot earlier. Now he has any kind of voice. Pritam’s music always has auto tune so that the sound is good.
Like every year this year too, Arijit has sung many hit songs like Zoome Jo Pathan, Tere Pyaar Mein, O Bedardiya, Tum Kya Mile, Chalaiya, Tum Kya Mile and Satranga.
