The gala event of 18th Bhojpuri Film Awards 2023 was held on 23 December in Kandivali, Mumbai, where actor Arvind Akela Kallu, known as the young heartthrob, was awarded the Best Actor award. At the same time, Amrapali Dubey won Best Actress, Pramod Shastri Best Director. The caravan of Bhojpuri Film Awards which started in the year 2005 became more special in its 18th edition.
Receiving the award, Kallu said that he sincerely thanks the organizers of the 18th Bhojpuri Film Awards 2023, the Bhojpuri audience and everyone associated with the film industry. For me this honor is not only an honor but also an expectation, on which I try my best to live up to the trust of the audience. Along with audience choice, the quality of films has also been my priority. Amrapali Dubey also said that every award motivates me to do better. So, I heartily thank you for the 18th Bhojpuri Film Awards 2023.
