The temple is being built in traditional Nagar style. Its length from east to west is 380 feet, while its width is 250 feet and height is 161 feet. The temple is being built in three floors, each floor is 20 feet in height. The infant form of Sri Ram (Sri Ramlala) will be enshrined in the ground floor sanctum sanctorum, while the Sri Ram Durbar will be enshrined in the first floor sanctum sanctorum. The temple will have a total of 392 pillars and 44 doors. The pillars and walls will have idols of gods and goddesses.
A total of five pavilions are being constructed in the temple.
A total of five mandaps are being built in the temple – Nritya Mandap, Rang Mandap, Gud or Sabha Mandap, Prathanna Mandap and Kirtan Mandap. The entrance will be from the eastern direction, which will be called Singhdwar and will have a height of 16.5 feet. . The temple will have walls (parkota) on all sides and temples of Lord Surya, Shankara, Ganapati and Bhagwati are being built in the four corners. At the same time, a Hanuman and Annapurna Devi temple is also being built in the southern part of the park. A mythical Sitakoop will also be present in the temple
Apart from this, temples of Maharishi Valmiki, Maharshi Vashishtha, Maharshi Vishwamitra, Maharshi Agastya, Nishadaraja, Mata Shabari and Goddess Ahilya are also proposed. There is also a proposal to renovate the Shiva temple located on the Navaratna Kuber mound in the south-western part of the temple and install a statue of Rama devotee Jatayu.
Preparations for celebrations across the country
There will definitely be a ceremony in Ayodhya on 22nd January. Plans are being made to celebrate it like a festival across the country. On behalf of Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra, people have been appealed that on January 22 between 11 am and 1 pm, devotees gather in some temples in the localities and villages and watch its live telecast on TV. Blowing of conch shells, ringing of bells, performing aarti and distribution of prasad are also called for in temples during this period.
Along with this, Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust has also appealed to collectively recite Hanuman Chalisa, Sundarkand and Ram Raksha Stotra in temples and collectively chant ‘Shri Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram’ 108 times. It is also appealed to light a lamp in front of the house after sunset on that day and decorate the lamp. After the consecration of the temple, the Tirtha Kshetra Trust has also requested a large number of people from the country to come to Ayodhya with their families and have a darshan of the temple and the Lord.
