Read on the application

MBBS Admission 2023: Enrollment of 804 MBBS course students enrolled in state medical colleges has been barred. They will not be registered till further orders. The nomination is now completely in limbo. BCECE took admission in MBBS course after 30 September. BCECE conducted choice filling for scattered vacancies till 18th October. About 59 seats were left in this. BCECE has banned counseling for sporadic vacancies. Now after receiving the letter from National Medical Commission (NMC) further action will be taken.

On the other hand, the students alleged that the enrollment process was started late in Bihar. Due to which the career of the students is at stake. Regarding this, BCECE OSD Anil Kumar said that point wise information has been given to the health department. The government has also sent a letter to the NMC. The future of 804 currently enrolled students is at stake. OSD said the dates for PG enrollment and BDS were extended several times but not for MBBS enrollment.

Wrong counseling after last date
The official order of the National Medical Commission i.e. NMC has written that the last date of counseling for admission to MBBS seats has been fixed on September 30. Counseling held after this date is a violation of NMC order. In the Supreme Court also, the NMC has given the nomination schedule till September 30.

After September 30, nominations have been made for 75 seats in government dental colleges and 122 seats in private dental colleges. 144 MBBS and Dental seats are vacant.

Students are stuck on the issue of upgrade
BCECE argues that entry into Bihar started on time. Students do not get admission based on first preference, they are always looking for an upgrade. Due to which the enrollment of so many students was stopped. However, the government is making efforts. Many state affairs are involved in this.
