Tickets for the India-England match are being sold through fake websites. As soon as the complaint was received, the Lucknow Cyber ​​Cell revealed the matter and informed the ICC and BCCI about it.

In fact, there was a complaint that tickets for the India-England cricket match to be held in Lucknow were sold through a fake website. It was stated that the tickets are being sold from the website www.iccworldcuptickets.com. During the police investigation, this website turned out to be fake. After which Lucknow police informed ICC and BCCI about the fraud. Police said that an FIR will be registered as soon as the complaint is received. Please note that only the Book My Show website is authorized to sell tickets. Apart from this, tickets for any World Cup match are not being sold through other websites.

There were constant reports of fraudulent websites extorting money from fans in the name of tickets. On Monday, Joint Police Commissioner Upendra Agarwal ordered the Cyber ​​Cell to investigate. Investigation revealed that the website is fake. After which ICC and BCCI were informed about the matter through mail. Further action will be taken after receiving the complaint.
